After winning the toss and electing to bat the Ferrets looked to get their innings off to a flying start.
They hit a slight hurdle when Reece Maguire (8) fell in the fourth over to the bowling of Haydn Emerson (2/31) with the score on 10.
The fall of Maguire brought Muir to the crease and after Steve Campbell was caught by John Gray off the bowling of Richard Keith (1/30) Justin Kelly came to the crease, and the innings was built from there.
Kelly and Muir were the backbone as they took the side from 2/27 to 3/138 with Muir taking the lead with the run-scoring hitting 12 boundaries including three sixes on his way to 96.
Emerson returned to the bowling crease to dismiss Muir and Kelly followed soon after when he was bowled by Chris Hopkins (1/20).
The two quick wickets did little to slow the scoring from the Ferrets with Rhett McGregor (42*) and Adrian Axtill (27*) making the most of the 15 overs remaining.
The pair put on 72 runs on their way to setting The Phantoms a target of 212 for victory after their 40 overs.
It was a slow start for the Phantoms which put them up against it early in their chase of the massive target.
Brandon Emerson (5) fell in the third over after he was clean bowled by Ben Elwin (1/14) in the third over Haydn Emerson, and Gray attempted to rebuild their innings.
After a nine-run partnership, Gray was the next to fall in the eighth over after he was caught by Kelly off the bowling of Rhys Wilesmith (1/9) to have The Phantoms at 2/19.
Phantoms captain Steve Weckert (20) was the first to offer any real resistance but it was a struggle to find a partner as Haydn Emerson (9), and Jordan Camm (6) fell for single digits.
Weckert joined his teammates in the pavilion soon after followed by Lachlan Hamilton (1) to have the side on the back foot at 6/50.
Jock Yelland (23) and Keith (13*) tried to offer some lower order resistance and get their side towards three figures however once Yelland fell to the bowling of Maguire (3/6) it spelt the end.
Hopkins (0) and John Semmens (2) were able to hold out for too long with the side bowled out for 97 runs in 37.2 overs to give the Ferrets a 114 run victory.
L&D now prepare to take on Narrandera next weekend while The Phantoms face Yanco.
