The Locals, full of more experienced players showed they are the team to beat, dominating the Purple People Eaters and winning the match 3-0 with scores of 25-5, 25-13 and 25-13.
Best players were Solomon Folosaitu, Faaleaga Soli and Brook Gilmour.
The second match for the night was a tighter affair between Lethal Legends and Leftovers.
The first set was a nail biter with the Leftovers winning by the barest of margins 25-24.
Leftovers won 3-1 with scores of 25-24, 25-17, 16-25, 25-15.
Best players were Allanah Hughes, Michael Hammond and Lizette Taylor.
The last match of the night was an excellent contest between Hit Heads and Diggas With Attitude, fighting out in the first five set match of the competition.
It went set for set the entire match, but it was the Diggas who held on to win the deciding set with scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-15, 24-25, 15-8.
