L&D: The weather was kind enough to hold off for our minor singles semi finals with only a couple of light showers. Denise Darnley-Naylor won against Marie Odewahn and Joan Bourke defeated Wilma Alexander.

Denise and Joan will battle it out for the championship on Thursday.
The drawn winners were Lorraine Messner, Shirley Tyack and Gill Beer. The lucky draw was won by Marie Odewahn.
LSC: In the semi finals of the major singles there were two matches played. Margaret McKenzie overcame her opposition quite early to win easily. Shirley Middleton fought for the lead until the 14th but then raced ahead. These two members will contest the club title.
Drawn winners were Shirley Middleton and marker, Beryl Breed while runners-up were social players Jeannie Plant and Ann Chant.
There is a list on the board for names for consistency singles. The veteran’s competition has been cancelled.
Presentation of veteran’s medals at the club this Wednesday at 9am.
