In their first game, they took on Lake Cargelligo and with Lakes winning the toss the Leeton side was sent into the field.
Lakes made a decent start with Jarrod Cahill (15) and L. Hobson getting the side to 13 before Steve Weckert struck to have Hobson caught behind for 7.
Cahill was joined by M. Johnson (17), and the pair started to make a foundation for their side to build on before Leeton captain Nathan Carn stuck to have Cahill caught by Alex Crelley.
A Quiane fell to the bowling of Hugh Collins shortly after to have Lakes struggling on 3/32 before Johnstone and Harris (13) got the side towards 50.
It was the case of batsmen getting starts, but they were unable to build from their as Johnson was stumped off the bowling of Collins before Harris was run out 12 runs later to have Lakes on 5/59.
McFadgen (14) made it to double figures, and after he was dismissed after he was the next batsman to be run out, a quick fire 10 from Ireland saw Lakes set Leeton a target of 98 of their 20 overs.
Daniel Muir (1) and Chris Hopkins (12) got Leeton moving forward with the pair making 15 before Muir was bowled by Cahill (1/21).
Steve Weckert (13) joined Hopkins, but the pair were only able to add nine runs before Hopkins was dismissed by Quinane (2/10). Hugh Collins was the next to come to the crease, and he was able to put his head down and get his side towards the target.
Leeton lost Weckert and Jordan Camm (7) to be at 4/53 before Carn (16) joined Collins, and the pair were able to guide the side to victory with six wickets in hand.
In their next game against West Wyalong, they were up against it early as the opening partnership from Jesse Hampton (32) and Angus Green (29) got their side off to a flying start.
After an opening partnership of 50 off the first 10 overs, Carn (1/14) was able to dismiss Green which spelt the end of the meaning full partnerships for West Wyalong.
Rob Edis and Hampton put a partnership of 19 but after Hampton was caught behind off the bowling of Dionisio Pantano (3/7) saw the end of the run scoring for West Wyalong as Pantano picked up two more quick wickets to see Wests finish their innings on 7/90.
The small target proved to be a bigger issue than expected as Leeton lost three wickets inside the first four overs as Daniel Muir (3), Chris Hopkins (4) and Nathan Tang (0) to be 3/9.
Collins (27) became the backbone as they try to save the innings, but finding partners to stay with him was the issue for the Wolves.
Weckert (12) was the only other batsman able to make double digits as Leeton was bowled out seven runs short of victory
