Born in Leeton, Anthony grew up with his two brothers Matt and Bradley, and mum and dad Annette and David.
His fond memories continuing today are watching football with the Crows in the winter, and enjoying the river in summer.
“I spent most of my 20’s in Melbourne studying and working and enjoying the city life. I came back to pursue a business career, Melbourne was going to be too hard without a support framework that I enjoy in Leeton,” Anthony said.
Currently, Anthony owns and manages the Historic Hydro, and is about to develop the old Hydro Tavern block.
“My biggest project at the moment is the Hydro, I spend the majority of my time trying to ensure the building is always improving in what it has to offer guests to the town and locals looking to enjoy a night out.”
“I spend my rest time with my lovely partner Rose and playing golf with my great mates Luke, Matt and Brian.”
A keen supporter of Leeton sporting groups, Anthony sponsors for the Leeton United Soccer Club.
“I feel it is important give back to the community, through supporting the soccer club and a variety of other charities and events helps provide the community with the opportunities that I have always enjoyed in Leeton.”
Anthony says for a small town, Leeton has a great level of infrastructure, and definitely has a lot on offer, no matter your inclination
“The pool, golf course, sporting ovals among many other facilities make it a great place to be able to enjoy whatever recreation people choose, and add that to a great industry base and you have a perfect opportunity to work hard in a great job and relax doing whatever you like in Leeton.”
Anthony says it comes naturally to be so involved in the community.
“There are so many things to be passionate about, something for everybody, and it makes for an enjoyable lifestyle and makes all the hard work worth it.”
