Leeton golf news

MEN: On Saturday men played round three of championships and November monthly medal with some great scores. A Grade winner was John Kellahan, 66 on a count back, to runner-up Luke Di Silva.

B Grade was Rod Emerson 68 nett, and runner-up Tim Commins, 69 nett. C Grade winner and November medalist was Anthony Dunne, 65 nett, runner-up was Barry Irvine, 68 nett.

Nearest the pins 4th Geoff Mckenzie, 6th and 13th Josh Helson 15th Peter Mcclosky. Josh Helson had 65 of the stick with a handicap of +1 well done Josh.

Drive and chip; A Grade John Kellahan, B Grade Rod Tait, and C Grade Ron Jones. Ball comp went to 70 nett.

Sunday men played final round of championships. A Grade winner was Scott Turner, 70 nett, runner-up, 72 nett.  B Grade Steve Hottes with a great score of 64 nett, runner-up Ross Cantrill 67 nett. C Grade Peter McClosky, 67 nett, runner-up B Hillyer, 68 nett. Nearest the pins: 4th Don Piltz 6th Josh Helson 13th Scott Turner and 15th Luke Di Salvia.  Drive and chip: A Grade Luke Di Salvia, B Grade Steve Hottes. Ball comp went to 70 nett. Congratulations to all of the winners and club champion Josh Helson 280/8 under the card for the four rounds.

WOMEN: Saturday ladies played round three and November monthly A Grade winner was Viv Burton, 72 nett, runner-up Jenny Day, 75 nett.  B Grade winner and monthly medalist was Talise Rudd, 68 nett, runner-up Chris Harrison, 71 nett. 

C Grade Elaine Henman, 74 nett, and runner-up Lyn Wood, 76 nett.  Nearest the pins 4th Viv Burton and ball comp went to 75 nett.

Sunday round four A Grade winner Viv Burton, 67 nett, runner-up Penny Hudson, 71 nett.  B Grade Sam Killen 67 nett and runner up Susan Reid 71 nett.  C Grade winner Lyn Wood 69 nett and runner

Up Chris Smith 73 nett.  Nearest the pins 4th Nola O’reilly 13th and 15th Janelle Sullivan Ball comp went to 71 nett. There will be a play off in C Grade between Elaine Henman and Chris Smith next weekend.
