After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Ferrets made a positive start with Steve Campbell and Justin Kelly setting the foundation for a big score.
It was a quick start which saw L&D reach 41 in 7.3 overs before Campbell (32) was clean bowled by Chris Hopkins (1/29).
The fall of wicket did little to slow the Ferrets scoring rate as Daniel Muir and Kelly continued to put pressure on the Phantoms bowlers.
The pair accelerated the scoring rate to be on 136 before Kelly (30) fell to the bowling of John Semmens (4/57) after a 95-run partnership with Muir.
McGregor followed shortly after he was caught by Vula Wate off the bowling of Bill Buster but with Mitchell Hardie at the crease, it was clear there would be a massive chase in store for the Phantoms.
Adrian Axtil (10) provided a partner for Muir (78) before he was finally dismissed by Semmens with the score on 176.
Maclean Crompton (13*) and L&D captain Ben Elwin (9) provided some late runs as the Ferrets reached a final total of 232 off their 28.5 overs as Jordan Camm (3/34) picked up three lower order wickets.
Needed a good start to stand a chance of chasing down the target, losing Brent Lister (4) and Hopkins (2) to the bowling of Elwin (2/7) was not what they had in mind.
Haydn Emerson and last week’s centurion Bill Buster looked to rebuild the innings and looked to be on the right path with a 32-run partnership.
However, when Buster fell to Muir turned into a collapse which all but ended the Phantoms chances as they lost five wickets for 12 runs to fall to 7/54. Muir was the chief destroyer backing up his performance with the bat picking up four wickets for just 10 runs off his four overs.
Camm was the only batsman to offer any real resistance to the Ferrets batting line-up, and when he was dismissed by Jonte Schmetzer (2/13), it ended the Phantoms chances. Callum Dunn (4) and Greg Halloran (1) fell soon after as the Phantoms bowled out for 81 meaning L&D were able to come away with a 151-run victory.
