The stunning bride flew in to the ceremony via a helicopter to the picture-perfect white chapel, which was surrounded by a vineyard. She walked down aisle with her father Brian McGrath.
Chloe walked down the aisle to Ronan Keating’s When you Say Nothing at All and wore a dress from Brides of Wagga and the men’s suites were from Ron Dalla.
The bridesmaids and maid of honour were New Zealand locals and wore lovely navy dresses purchased overseas, while the groomsmen were Australian lads, also sporting navy attire.
About 80 guests attended and flew in from Australia, Kenya and South Island New Zealand to attend the special day.
The reception was also held at Huka Falls Resort Taupo, and the first dance song was Ed Sheeren’s Perfect. The photographer was Dave Gallacher - Fantail Multimedia.
Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal before dancing the night away with a DJ.
Chloe and Matthew spent the week prior to their wedding in Taupo, where Chloe originates.
The speeches at their reception were a fun mix of laughs and tears, with guests happily watching on as the couple enjoyed their first moments as newlyweds together.
The evening's humorous tone continued after dinner when the bridge and groom played a game which involved their guests. Each table was asked to come up with a question which was then put to the pair. One example was "who does the dishes" and the bride and groom was required to put their hand up (while sitting back-to-back and holding one of the other's shoes in the air) if they thought it was them. They were unable to see each other's answers, making for many funny moments.
Matthew, a Leeton local, met Chloe, from New Zealand while travelling overseas.
Chloe and Matthew honeymooned for 10 relaxing days in Fiji and are making their home in Leeton.
