Australian music legend John Farham has revealed he is "all clear" of cancer one year on from his initial surgery.

"I am the luckiest man I know right now," he said in a statement released on August 23.
"It's been a year since my first surgery and to be honest I've lost count as to how many other procedures there's been since then."
The statement was released to mark 12 months since the 74-year-old underwent a 12-hour surgery to remove a cancerous tumour from his mouth.
His treatment also involved reconstructive plastic surgery, eight weeks of radiation treatment and other surgeries to address various complications that followed.
In July Mr Farnham was formally given the "all clear" by his medical team.
He said he was now home and "a very grateful and happy man".
"Today is a special day. And I'm going to mark it by having a pizza - because I can! I can't wait to see what might be next on the menu," he said.
"Bring on 2024."
He thanked everyone who had offered him support in the past year.
"It's only now that I can start to appreciate and comprehend, for myself, how many messages of love and support have been sent to me over the past year," he said.
"I don't know what to say, other than thank you so very much. It honestly means the world to me."

Mr Farnham said at home he was "lapping up" attention from his wife Jill, sons Rob and James and mini Schnauzer, Edmund.
The Farnham family extended their gratitude to the "remarkable" medical team in Melbourne who cared for him.
News in August 2022 that Mr Farnham was undergoing surgery led to an outpouring of support from across Australia, including from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
"All Australians love John Farnham," Mr Albanese said.
"John Farnham has been and continues to be a great Australian. He has not only provided entertainment for Australians over many decades, he also has been a contributor to the nation."
