The dog food was donated by the Leeton Lions Club with the assistance of MIA Rural Services Leeton.
Lions Club president Mark Norvall said the organisation had a good relationship with RADAR and was happy to help.
"We know they do a lot of work and give a lot of time to what they do," he said. "That should be applauded and we are happy to help in whatever way we can."
RADAR is a not-for-profit organisation that rescues and re-homes pound animals in danger of being put down.
The animals are fostered by volunteers, with their health and temperament assessed.
They are also microchipped, vaccinated and desexed before being re-homed.
RADAR president Cheryl McCormick was appreciative of the donation and was hopeful more Leeton residents would come on board.
"We're always looking for more foster carers to help with things before we start looking for someone to adopt an animal," she said.
"We don't know what we'd do without the community support because it can be quite expensive caring for many animals at once."
RADAR has so far saved 1700 animals and re-homed them as far away as Darwin, Perth and Tasmania.
