The 40-page, full colour book includes information on staff and residents from throughout the years.
Villa chairman Estella Errey has had the book in the pipeline for some time.
It was compiled by committee members Carol Chiswell, Sandra Robinson and Mrs Errey and was based on earlier work by Shirley Ciavarella.
“The villa has been a big part of the lives of many families here in Leeton since 1961,” Mrs Errey said.
“The history explains how the villa came about, the early days of the Daughters of Charity and how the many community organisations in Leeton worked towards the establishment of this great facility.
“The book details how the villa was managed, the residents and staff within its walls and the changes in aged care over the years.”
The book seeks to recognise the valuable contribution that individuals and organisations have made to the Villa over the years.
It will be officially launched and available for purchase tomorrow at the fete for $10.
The fete will also include many other attractions, including various stalls, classic cars, food galore, a dog show, Lions train, model aeroplane display and more.
The fete will be held at the villa grounds from 11am to 3pm.
