Organisers are hopeful the event will go ahead next year.
Committee publicity officer Carl Chirgwin said the games had made a difference to the town as a result of the funds raised and visitors taking part.
An annual general meeting will be held on February 5 at 7pm at the Barellan pool for those interested in helping with next year’s games.
