St Joseph’s Primary School students recently took part in the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.
In support of the event, students and staff created paper stars and wove them together as part of the One Million Stars to End Violence project.
Kindergarten and years 1 and 2 coloured in their stars, while years three to six made them with ribbon.
Teacher Emma Reneker said the school was committed to stamping out bullying not just at school, but in the community.
The school continues to make the stars, which will then be sent to Brisbane as part of the project. They will then be turned into an installation display in July.
