It was a successful weekend all round for the club as the Leeton side proves to the competition they will still be the team to beat in 2017.
At the end of their last game vice-captain, Amie Fazekas was pleased with the performance of the players who stepped into new roles with some of their more senior players unavailable.
“I thought they did really well on debut,” she said.
“They all worked really hard for the team and adjusted quickly.
““It was good to blow the cobwebs out.”
The other pleasing aspect of the game according to Fazekas was the girl's willingness to back each other up as they moved up the field which is something they will need to continue doing if they want to secure a second win.
This week they face an away trip to Wagga Ag who fell to a 17-point defeat in their first match before the Easter bye against Griffith Blacks.
