Drivers will compete in three rounds of heat races on the night as well as a 30 lap feature race in both categories.
While talent to run in both races is set to come from across the country, flying the flag for locals on the night includes drivers Wayne Aylett and Danny Harrison who is set to compete in both events.
The duo will be in good company with hot favourite and former national champion Callum Harper confirmed to take part in the race.
Harper will be looking to capitalise on the success of his 2015-16 season which saw him take home the title last season.
The Tasmanian knows exactly what it takes to navigate the Brobenah raceway track and is hoping to use that knowledge to walk away with back-to-back wins, according to organisers.
However, it will be an honour he will have to fight for with last season’s runner up Victorian Lucas Roberts also scheduled to take part.
Organisers say Roberts has his eye on going one better this weekend and taking out the top honours he previously just missed out on.
But Roberts and Harper won’t be the only talent making their way out to the racetrack on Saturday night.
Victorian Mick Nicola is currently in fine form, according to the experts, and will be one to watch after collecting a feature race win in the Goldrush event at Rushworth while former NSW champion Lachlan Onley will be looking to improve last year’s result after finishing third on the podium.
Local man Wayne Bourke will also feature on the night – heading up the field in the Aylett Automotive production sedans 1000 with some added confidence on the back of winning last Saturday’s Rocky Hill Royale at Goulburn Speedway.
After finishing second in last season’s NSW Title at Leeton to Queenslander Tim Atkin, Bourke who is a former Australian number two will be focused on clinching the top spot.
Scrutineering will begin at 2pm with racing to start at 4.30pm. Tickets are available for purchase at the speedway.
