Students participated in the Riverina Dance Festival towards the end of term two after earning their spot on the stage. In order to take part, dance groups have to audition their routines before being selected to take part.
This year 38 items from 23 schools were submitted from schools across the Riverina. “We were lucky enough to be selected again this year,” Leeton Public teacher Catherine Tabain said.
“The students worked very hard on their routine and from all accounts in came off beautifully.”
The LPS performance was titled The Storm and it explored the inner beauty and magic of a thunderstorm.
Participating students were Flynn Anthony, Emily Baulch, Pip Bradley, Chelsea Clark, Eloise Crelley, Neive Davies, Victoria Glenn, Jhi Grundy, Hamish Johnstone, Jess Laing-Morales, Elizabeth Lee, Adelaide Meline, Emily Pearce, Matilda Ryan, Adele Thompson, Grace Tynan and Faith Young.
