A hundred from Brad Evans has helped lift Yanco Cricket Club to a win over The Phantoms in B Grade.

After winning the toss and electing to bat Yanco made a decent start to see the side at 3/29 before Evans and Stuart Browne came to the crease.
From their the pair took the game away from The Phantoms with a 159-run partnership before it was broken with Emori Vulagi (2/19) picking up the wicket of Browne for 49.
Jason Burke (22) and Anthony Mandaglio (12) helped lift the side to a total of 8/230 before Evans was finally dismissed for 102 to bring the innings to a close.
In reply, The Phantoms were never really able to find their feet with Kal Poulsen (17) the only batsman to reach double figures.
Andrew Burke was the pick of the bowlers taking five wickets while only conceding 19 runs in his six overs to see The Phantoms bowled out for 34 in 14 overs.
The Soldiers Club was also able to take a round one win after seeing off L&D Team Y.
The Colts didn’t make the best start losing five wickets while only scoring 20 runs.
The constant during that phase was Rob Keech (38) and when he was joined by Michael Keech (17) came together they lifted the score to 55 before Michael was dismissed by Hayden Mahalm (2/11).
The Colts were eventually dismissed setting a target of 96 for the Ferrets.
They made a solid start in reply with Ryan Mahalm (4), and Adrian Axtill (25) get the side to 18 before the first wicket fell.
It took a turn when Axtill fell to the bowling of Michael Keech (3/20), and the side lost quick wickets to be left at 5/37.
Hayden Mahalm (33) and Kai Schmetzer (8) got the side to within 12 runs of victory, but they would fall three runs short as they were bowled out for 94.
In the final game, Narrandera took an eight-wicket win over L&D Team B.
The Ferrets found themselves at 2/47 after Antony Tocin (13) and Jamie O’Connell (24) got them off to a good start however the side lost eight wickets for just 11 runs to be bowled out for 58.
In reply, Narrandera lost Ash Cabban (9) after he was caught off the bowling of Jayden Turner (1/16) but Jono Schofield (28) and Jarred O’Brien (13*) lifted their side to the win.
