Spring has blossomed in Leeton and to celebrate St Peter’s Anglican Church are hosting their annual fete and rose and geranium show this Saturday.

Cakes, plants, craft and live entertainment will be on offer, with a kids corner, jumping castle and face painting for kids.
Leeton’s Fr Robert Murphy said the fete supported the life of the local church.
”It’s a great community event. It encourages and supports the life of the parish,” he said.
“The life of the parish is part of the community as well.”
A highlight of the day will be the rose and geranium show. Entries for the flower show will be taken on Friday afternoon from 4pm – 7pm.

“We’re linked with the Presbeterian fete. If you enter our flower show, you could end up being the grand champion of the two shows in the community,” he said.
The fete will be officially opened by Bishop Rob Gillian
Fr Robert is looking forward to seeing a lot of local faces.
”I’m looking forward to the atmosphere, the people coming. I want to see people having a good time and enjoying themselves.”
