The team, which features several players from Leeton shire, had a top day out.
The All Stars team won all three games to scoop the pool at Conolly Rugby Complex on Saturday.
They took big wins over teams from Wagga and Lake Cargelligo before coming away with a 16-4 win over Griffith.
All Stars had already proven they were the side to beat after going through the Albury women’s nine-a-side knockout undefeated.
The team has three Leeton shire players taking part – Ua Ravu, Monique Higgins and Cecilia Smith.
The trio have been consistently among the best players at their respective Leeton Greens and Yanco-Wamoon clubs and will be looking forward to lining up again this weekend.
In the under 16s pool at Wagga last weekend, Griffith went through undefeated.
Yanco also has a team competing in the under 16s competition.
The team is being coached by Matt Sheldrick.
The series continues at Lake Cargelligo on Saturday and it will then be held at Yanco Sportsground the following weekend.
Yanco-Wamoon Football Club is already gearing up to host the event in what will be a great day out for players and spectators alike.
The club is keen to host the day’s play, as well as supporting women’s football and promoting the sport.
Yanco-Wamoon’s Susan Higgins was hopeful the day would be supported and urged residents to head out to the sportsground to watch a quality day of competition.
“This should be a fantastic day showcasing women’s tackle football,” she said.
“There will be a full canteen operating all day with plenty of cold drinks and fresh food.
“Entry is free.”
