A woman has been remanded in custody overnight on Sunday after walking around a park heavily intoxicated.

The police were called to Mountford Park in Leeton at around 8.50pm, after reports of an intoxicated female wandering around.
Police located the female who was obviously and overtly affected by alcohol.
Due to her intoxicated and aggressive nature, police decided to escort her to the police station in order to make sure she was OK, and to maintain her welfare.
She successfully sobered up over night and was allowed to leave early Monday morning.
Inspector Seddon also wished to take the opportunity to encourage sensible behavior over the Christmas season.
“With the Christmas season, we are looking for people in the MIA to be sensible when they go out and celebrate,” he said.
“If they refuse, they will be getting a not-so-nice Christmas present from us – a $550 fine.”
It comes after a man refused to leave a liscenced premises in Griffith on Sunday.
A 36-year-old male was asked to leave the premises, refused, and was escorted out by security.
Police were there at the time, and slapped the man with a $550 fine for failing to quit a licensed premises when directed.
