9 This is what you look like each and every day rocking up to work after another sleepless night because the temperature didn’t drop at all – or at least that's what it felt like.
8 Instead of grabbing your morning coffee from one of Leeton’s finest establishments you’re searching for something that will quench your thirst and fill you up because who could be bothered eating when it’s so hot?
7 Speaking of cool beverages, no doubt once Friday rolls around you’ll find yourself at one of Leeton’s watering holes sinking a couple of “adult drinks” because “you deserve it” after that long, hot week.
6 If you’re not lucky enough to have your own background pool, you find yourself spending a lot of time at the Leeton pool.
5 These bad boys have found their way into your daily diet and you’re not even sorry.
4 You’ve ducked into Woolies or the Golden Apple to grab a loaf of bread, but by the time you come out the steering wheel is too hot to touch and your seat belt gives you third-degree burns.
3 You’ve driven to Griffith purely so you can sit in the air-conditioning at this place.
2 The thought of how much your electricity bill is going to be makes you want to curl up and cry.
1 If you’re not at the Leeton pool you’re out at the Murrumbidgee River because at least someone you know owns a boat. And this is the closest you’ll be getting to the “beach” this summer.
