There’s no doubting there’s so many options to choose just one ahead of the others, so who will it be?
Coffee has become entrenched in Australian society. We use it as a way to catch up with friends, to get us through every morning and, for some, they just can’t do without it on a daily basis.
However, some may be surprised to find out Australia ranks a lowly 42nd in the world in terms of per capita coffee consumption, even after the boom of the past two decades.
Australians consume just 3 kilograms of coffee each per year, only marginally higher than the tea-obsessed United Kingdom (2.8kg), according to the latest data.
