From today (February 5), Leeton Shire Council will be completing work on Palm Avenue from Muntenpen Street to Cassia Road.
This work has been in the diary for some time and will see drainage improvements prior to kerb and gutter installation.
Improvements to the road surface will also be made.
Motorists have been asked to avoid the area where possible for the next two weeks as the work is undertaken.
Temporary road closures and changed traffic conditions will be in place during the drainage installation works, any detours required will be clearly signposted.
