This year the club has two teams - grade four and grade six. Grade four play at Narrandera this week and grade six are at home to Yenda.
Les Bonham will embark on his 55th consecutive year of pennant bowls this year. What a remarkable record and one to be proud of.
L&D: Men’s Fours Club Championship results: Wayne Everett, Max Douglas, John Barker, and Leon Maybon 29 def Tony Trembarth, Andrew Reynolds, Graham Howie, and Anthony Gatt 19.
In the other semi-final one game wonders of Luke Melodious, John Thompson, Brian Ward, and Greg O'Callaghan went down to Mick Gooley, Terry Richey, Mick McAliece, and Geof Bull. The final will be played at a date to be determined.
The business house challenge got off to a great start on Tuesday night, with 30 participating.
Bullets 19 defeated LLMC Black 6, Mufflers 18 defeated SMJ 7, Leeton Hotel (2) 17 defeated LMCC White, Woogs 18 defeated Water Boys 7, Radio Cabs defeated 21 Leeton Hotel (1) 7. The carton winners SMJ (very unlucky) and Keno winners were Bullets.
