AT ST Joseph’s Primary School Leeton the well-being of each student is a high priority.
Parents, carers and our staff all have a significant influence on the mental health and well-being of students.
For this reason, a strong connection between home and school is very important.
At St Joseph’s each family is appreciated and respected, as part of our school community.
Our firmly held belief is that we do not enrol students, instead we welcome families into our community.
It is a small change in language, but this shift in thinking has a big impact on the feeling of belonging we strive for each family to experience.

Australian School of Performing Arts
At St Joseph’s the students have opportunities to experience the joy of music.
Each year every stage two and stage three student takes part in a music and dance program through the Australian School of Performing Arts.
Specialist teachers visit over several weeks and at the end of the term, all families are invited to attend an evening performance, which is a joyful celebration of the students’ skills.
Musical instrument tuition
Students at St Joseph’s Leeton can elect to receive free tuition in a range of instruments.
This opportunity is proving very popular with students.
Tuition in flute, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, trombone and drums is available and this year violin and cello have also been introduced.
Learning a musical instrument entitles students to be part of the St Joseph’s instrumental ensemble.
