A resident was asleep and was awoken by a loud bang outside.
Upon investigation, a 2006 Ford Territory was seen to be on fire outside.
The fire brigade attended and extinguished the blazing car.
Also in Narrandera, an alarm was tripped at the Forestry by someone breaking into the storage shed.
It is unknown what was taken from the shed.
In other news, Griffith Tafe was broken into between 2.30pm and 3pm on Sunday.
When security went to investigate, they saw three young males running out of the fire door, described as being Caucasian, around 14 to 15 years of age, with one riding a skateboard and another a push bike.
