Police responded to two road crashes across the region this morning, but thankfully no-one was hurt.

At 7.20am, a ute and van collided about five kilometres south of Tarcutta on the Hume Highway, near Comatawa Road. According to NSW Police Media, an ambulance was called as a precaution, with reports the 33-year-old female driver of the ute was in shock.
About an hour later, a truck ran off the road 10 kilometres north of Narrandera on the Newell Highway. It was initially believed another vehicle may have been involved, but police said it turned out to be the truck only. The driver was unharmed and the truck will be towed later today.
Elsewhere in the region, snow has caused problems around Batlow and Transport NSW urged motorists to exercise caution in the area after two adults and a child were trapped in snow after sliding off the road near Orange.
