The Inner Wheel Club of Leeton will hold its biggest fundraising event of the year on May 26 and the whole community is invited.
The Falling Leaf Luncheon will celebrate not just the autumn season, but will also raise munch-needed funds for charity and community groups in Leeton.
Inner Wheel Club of Leeton president Moira Buller was looking forward to the event generating as much money as possible.
“We want people to know all of the money raised as part of this event stays in Leeton,” she said.
“In the past we’ve helped many community groups.
“We haven’t decided where this money will go this year, but we will be deciding that soon.”
For just $35, residents will enjoy a two-course meal and entertainment, as well as being in the running for lucky door prizes.
Raffles have been put together thanks to the generosity of many of the shire’s businesses.
