Pasquale Romeo, aged 55, was one of three men arrested as part of a $5.5 million cannabis haul near Leeton in February 2017.
Police from Strike Force Elkmont, which included officers from Griffith Local Area Command in conjunction with Strike Force Hyperion from the SCC Drug Squad allegedly uncovered the cannabis after executing a crime scene warrant at a farm.
Mr Romeo stood accused of one count of taking part in the cultivation of a large commercial quantity of cannabis, but Magistrate Boulos dismissed the charges when he appeared before Griffith Local Court late last week.
During the search, officers say they seized in excess of 2500 cannabis plants, two shot guns, two rifles, ammunition and a sum of cash.
The potential street value of the cannabis was estimated to be $5.5 million.
