On May 28, the man living in the home on Merungle Hill Road heard a noise during the early hours of the morning, but was able to return back to sleep.
After waking up again around 7am, the man has gotten out of bed.
Upon leaving the room he noticed broken glass and a window had been broken.
After checking one of the other rooms in the house, the man found he wasn’t alone.
A person unknown to him was found asleep in another bedroom with the heater turned on.
The man called his employer, who then contacted police straight away.
On arrival police issued a caution to the man and he was taken to the Leeton police station where he was interviewed by officers.

He was later charged with aggravated break and enter with intent.
The man was granted conditional bail and will appear in Leeton Local Court on June 15.
