CONGRATULATIONS to Grace Korovata for her continued dominance across the netball scene with her inclusion in the opens Riverina team and CHS NSW under 15s team.
She has also been selected in the prestigious NSW ALL Schools under 15s netball team. Grace was selected from an incredibly tough field which highlights her enormous talent as a netball player.

AT THE end of term one Kody Collins of Year 12 attended the Riverina Open Boys Rugby League Trials in Wagga.
He was successful on the day being selected as part of a 17-man team. Kody was selected at lock and was part of the run on side.
The Riverina team then travelled to Canberra early in term two to play against the South Coast region.
The Riverina team were successful on the day winning against much larger opponents, with Kody scoring one of their tries. A Southern NSW Team was selected on the day, but unfortunately Kody did not gain selection.

ON JUNE 1, LHS honoured another student’s significant contribution to our school with the presentation of a Double Gold Jacket to Jorgy Eglinton in year 12.
Jorgy is a very deserving young person who has consistently been a proactive leader and dedicated student. We are very proud of her achievements and congratulate Jorgy and her family on this wonderful result.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs Goman and our fabulous dancers whose performance at the Riverina Dance Festival was absolutely faultless.
Students delivered a most professional and enjoyable performance during the festival which was clearly a result of a considerable amount of hard work. Well done to all.

ON MAY 30 a Transition/Enrolment Information session was held for prospective year 7 2019 students and their parents.
We were very appreciative of the very large group of parents and students who attended and look forward to the remainder of the transition program with newest students.

MORE good news on the Schools Spectacular front. Our choir has also been selected, alongside our ensemble dancers Madison Teerman, Emika Gooley and Charlotte Morschel, and our drama group.
Amazing results for our school with over 40 students participating in the Schools Spectacular in November. A massive vote of thanks to Mrs van den Heuval, Mrs Goman and Mrs Skewes for their commitment in providing this opportunity for our students.

ON MAY 19, Zoe Stockton and Madalynn Cromack competed at the Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre in the Scots Interschool Equestrian Challenge for Leeton High School.
The competition consisted of rider classes, dressage, show jumping, equitation jumping and novelties.
The competition brings together 150 riders from many different primary and high schools.
Zoe and Madalynn had a busy day and were happy with their efforts after a long day of competing with their horses.
