Bridie, who played Tess McLeod on McLeod’s Daughters, will be coming to town as part of a special reunion with other cast members.
She will be joined by Zoe Naylor (Regan), Myles Pollard (Nick Ryan), Lisa Chappell (Clare McLeod) and Aaron Jeffery (Alex Ryan).
Bridie was looking forward to the event to not just meet many of the McLeod’s fans, but to also catch up with her former cast mates.
“I live on a farm myself, so coming to places like Leeton and meeting the people, that is just something I absolutely love doing,” she said.

“It’s also a great opportunity for myself and the other guys to all catch up.
“We’re all so busy, so these events are really the only time we get to see each other.
“We all got on so well during filming and it’s the same now.
“I’ve never been to Leeton, so I’m really excited.”
The cast will be hosting two events at the Roxy Theatre where they will speak about their time on the show, answer questions and mingle with fans.
McLeod’s Daughters ended almost a decade ago, but the show’s fans have long lived on and new generations of followers have popped up.
“We have people coming up to us with box sets that are worn out wanting us to sign them … I don’t think there’s any other show that continues to run out of the DVDs,” Bridie said.
“It’s just amazing to think the show is still so popular.
“It really warms my heart getting to meet our fans. I think the show is still so popular because it can resonate with young children right through to grown ups.
“There’s not a lot of violence or swearing (in the show). It just appeals to a lot of people and it’s not something you get on TV anymore.”
When asked about a TV reunion Bridie didn’t rule it out.
She said in order for that to happen all involved want to make sure it’s the right time and that the show’s legacy isn’t compromised.
The reunion in Leeton will be held on July 21. Tickets are available online at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/mcleods-daughters-at-the-roxy-tickets-45331043371 at $88 per person.
