United came away with a 3-1 win last weekend over Tumut and they are hoping that form continues this weekend.
The two sides met earlier this season in round one, with the final score 3-1 in Tolland’s favour.
Leeton United assistant coach Joe Trifogli said the team had learned plenty since then and was hopeful that would translate come Saturday night.
“They (Tolland) are in form and will be hard to beat,” he said.
“We will need to play to our structures and to the game plan set out by coach Mick Doolin.
“Hopefully we will be playing in dry conditions because that’s going to help as well.”
Tolland are currently second on the ladder, while United are seventh.
Jarrod Sillis will come into the team as goal keeper following the immediate retirement of Anthony Mandaglio for personal reasons.
It was only earlier this season that Mandaglio notched up is 300th game for the club.
The club has also welcomed Estonian recruit Eric Listman to the side and are hopeful he will combine well with Anthony Triogli, who last week kicked three goals.
“There’s a lot of positive signs for us at the moment,” Trifogli said.
“What we need to work on is our composure. Especially in front of goals.
“It’s going to be very important this weekend we take our chances and not miss any of them.”
The intensity at United’s training has stepped up recently, with the whole team working hard to ensure they are at their best, according to the assistant coach.
“I don’t know if it’s World Cup fever, but everyone has been really getting into training, which is great,” Trifogli said.
“Hopefully that translates in this weekend’s game.”
