Relay for Life will return to Leeton this year, with the event to take place at the town ovals on October 6 and 7.
Now is the time to think about putting together a team or signing up as an individual to take part.

This means fundraising for the Cancer Council can start sooner and the event can be a guaranteed success.
Leeton Relay for Life committee member Grace Capaldi said interest was growing in the event.
“There’s already a few teams … we’ve had a lot of people who have told us they will be putting teams in as well,” she said.
“We want to at least have the same amount as last time and hopefully raise a similar amount too.
“It’s a cause close to everyone’s heart. No matter if you’ve had cancer or not.
“We all know someone who has.”
In 2016 the event returned to Leeton after a recess, raising $40,000.
The 2018 event will again be held over 24-hours, with participants camping overnight and walking laps of the oval throughout that time period.
There’s various activities throughout, including a survivors’ lap, welcoming ceremony and much more.
“I think I just enjoy seeing everyone having fun and united for the cause,” Ms Capaldi said.
“People dress up and make it a fun outing.
“There’s also the serious side to it as well, but it’s all part of it.”
