As part of NAIDOC Week on Tuesday, Leeton library staff Sandra Watson and Leonie Murphy headed outdoors and into the sunshine of Gossamer Park.
Their aim was to present storytime to as many youngsters as possible and, thanks to the Leeton Early Learning Centre, they had many eager children at the ready.
There were songs aplenty and stories galore as the children learned more about Australia’s Indigenous heritage.
Typically, storytime is held at the library, but heading out into the fresh air as part of the family fun day at the park, provided the opportunity for more youngsters than usual to take part.
