Mr Noyce was in Leeton recently to show his family around the town and Griffith, which is where he was born in 1950.
Many would recognise the many films Mr Noyce has to his name, including one of his biggest Rabbit Proof Fence.
During his visit, Mr Noyce and his family enjoyed a meal at Leeton’s Pages on Pine, which thrilled owners Vanessa and Eric Pages.

Mrs Pages was lucky enough to get chatting with the award-winning director, who explained why he was in town.
“He was here showing his family around the area he was born, but he told me he chose to stay in Leeton on the recommendation of a good friend who went to school at Yanco (Agricultural High School),” she said.
“He couldn’t speak highly enough of the area.
“I think it’s great to have people of his esteem come into our restaurant, but it’s also so interesting.
“I’m sure there are many people out there who didn’t know he was born in Griffith.
“There’s certainly a lot of talented people from our area who have gone on to do big things.”
Other movie titles directed by Mr Noyce that residents may recognise include The Quiet American, Clear and Present Danger and The Giver.
He has worked on movies which have starred famous names such as Meryl Streep and Harrison Ford.
“I just think it’s great to show people here they can go on and do big things … no matter where they come from,” Mrs Pages said.
