A grade co-coach Libby Gillespie said the Crows studied the Swans’ style of play in an effort to counteract them on the court.

“That really worked well for us and we forced Griffith to change it up,” she said.
“We’ve had some comments from Griffith saying they felt the game was a lot harder than what the score showed.”
The Crows were only down by three goals at half-time, but let the match slip away, particularly in the last quarter.
Missing from the line up was the powerful Grace Korovata who away with state duties. “We really did miss Grace … I would say it would have made a huge difference having her play, but that’s the way it goes,” Gillespie said.
This weekend the Crows have the bye and will look to their next match against MCUE.
