“SafeWork NSW is investigating after a 69-year-old man was injured at a rural property in Euroley on Monday,” a spokesman said.
“Initial inquiries indicate two men were loading polyethylene pipes onto the rear of a truck.
“As they were securing the load, two sections of pipe fell from the trailer, striking the man and knocking him to the ground.
“He suffered severe head and chest injuries and was transported to Canberra Hospital by air ambulance.”
The man is believed to be in a stable condition in Canberra Hospital.
