The Phantoms will finish the regular season on Saturday in second position and will look to get the ball rolling with a win before heading into finals the following week.
In some good news, first grade could welcome back captain Tim Rolls, with a decision to be made on his return at training on Thursday night.
Rolls played in second grade last weekend.
“We’re just trying to bring him back the right way and not rush it,” club president Tim Allen said.
The Phantoms are hoping to rebound from last weekend’s loss to the undefeated Wagga Waratahs ahead of the finals series, but several players will still be out with work commitments.
“We don’t think it’s fair to be asking them to give up work when it’s not finals yet … we’re hoping they will be all back in time for the first finals match,” Allen said.
Last time the two sides met was at No. 1 Oval when the Phantoms recorded a 34-24 win.

However, since then Ag College have only improved, working their way up into third spot.
“They will really be wanting to lock in third and get the second chance,” Allen said.
“We know it will definitely be another tough game and we’ll probably be playing them again in the first week of finals.”
Coaches praise Dianas
DESPITE Leeton’s women’s sevens team going down 31-22 at the hands of the Wagga Waratahs last weekend, their coaches said it was their “best game of the year”.
All season the girls have been called on to lift their intensity and that’s exactly what they did against the second placed Waratahs.
“We were just so impressed with them,” co-coach Tim Allen said.
“There were no structural errors … it was just the small things that didn’t go our way.”
This weekend the Dianas take on Wagga Ag College, a side they have beaten once already this season. “I think it will be very different playing over there … it will be a challenge,” Allen said.
