The club recently announced its debt had risen to $443,000.
Last Friday the club needed to have raised $20,000 in order for it to be solvent, which it was able to achieve.
However, it still needs to raise $113,000 by the end of the month to clear its outstanding creditors and move forward.
“To call a spade a spade the club is still on a knife edge,” secretary-manager Andrew Hurst said.
“We are far from out of the woods.

“It’s going to be a long, hard road, with a lot of struggles and a fair amount of luck needed.
“The community are worried and I think our (recent members) meeting really hit home to many people who did not understand the magnitude of the situation.”
The community can still help the club along in order to make up the $113,000 target.
Mr Hurst said if that milestone can be reached it will allow the club to keep the ball rolling and the doors open.
He said the club wasn’t designed to make a million dollars, but if it could get back on an even keel, it would be heading in the right direction.
“If we can continue to get some donations, or if anyone is prepared to do a loan of some description, we are open to all offers,” Mr Hurst said. “There has even been little things like the donation of raffle prizes and soft drink to sell. They are all valuable and help us to keep going
“The support has been moving. Not only from the Yanco community, but from those in Leeton as well. No one wants to see the club fold. It doesn’t help anyone in another small community lose another asset.”
The club will host a major fundraiser on September 1 to help it in its bid, with Rodney Vincent entertaining. It is also offering no charge on functions and promises to meet the needs of every event.
Mr Hurst was hopeful the community’s support would continue. “People from all walks of life are pitching in,” he said.
“As with everything you still have some ‘nay sayers’, but as a whole people are very supportive.
“I can not emphasise enough the value of the community support, whether it be donations, monetary or in kind. We need to clear the debt to have any chance.”
