The group will be celebrating its 90th anniversary on August 28 with a luncheon, but in the meantime has taken the opportunity to reflect on its achievements over the past nine decades.
Over the years along with many catering commitments, the group was also famous for its annual Melbourne Cup function.
Street stalls and raffles also feature in their fundraising efforts, with raffles being the major fund raiser today.

A luncheon for the golf ladies each year is also a popular event.
Trauma teddies continue to be knitted and given to hospital, ambulance, police and the town’s rescue squad.
Hands on Care is carried out by two members where they go to Assumption Villa and Alf Herrmann Lodge each month and do manicures for the residents.
Members are rewarded for years of service to Red Cross commencing after 10 years and each 10 years there after they receive a bar.
Some of Leeton members over the years have received awards at national and local levels.
President Elsa Sheldrick received an OAM for her contribution to the community, especially the Red Cross.
Mavis Blight was named Leeton citizen of the year and Enid Tuckett and Judith Nolan also received the town’s long-time citizen to shire award.
“Current members who qualify will be being presented with service awards at the anniversary luncheon,” Mrs Nolan said.
The luncheon is expected to be well attended and anyone with a connection to the Leeton branch is welcome to attend.
“We will have lots of memorabilia on show, so if you had a relative in Red Cross in the past you will probably find some photos in the collection.” Mrs Nolan said.
“Our current president Enid Tuckett is our archivist and she has collected many things from past years.”
The luncheon will be held at the Mia Function Centre on August 28.
