COMMUNITY Transport lives on for Narrandera and Leeton patrons following a Transport for NSW two-year grant funding extension, accepted by Narrandera Shire Council. Charges for all these services is minimal.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders 50 years and over, any Transport Disadvantaged individuals, and citizens, 65 years and over, will be eligible for these services.
Monthly shuttle services are also expected to be introduced. Eligible clients will also be issued with taxi vouchers.
