As part of Local Government Week, the library’s weekly storytime had more than the usual special touch.
Machinery of all sizes was set up in the Sycamore Street carpark for youngsters to explore and learn about on Wednesday.
The morning started off with songs and stories within the library before the moment all of the children had been waiting for arrived.

Leeton Shire Council staff had set up vehicles and machinery of all sizes in the car park and fired them up while the children watched on.
They excitement then went into overdrive when they were let loose and able to explore the machinery themselves.
Storytime is held each Wednesday and Saturday at the library at 10.30am.
