A launch for the event will be held on Saturday with a special appearance from everyone’s favourite mascot Dougal Bear.
Leeton Relay For Life committee chairman Grace Capaldi and fellow volunteers will be donning the purple and yellow for the event to help remind people the relay is coming up on October 6 and 7.
A stall will be set up in Pine Avenue from 10am where people are encouraged to stop by to register, collect registration forms for team members, purchase Relay For Life merchandise such as hats, beanies, teddy bears and drink bottles and get a photo with Dougal Bear.

The committee will also be able to answer any questions the community might have about the upcoming event which raises vital funds for Cancer Council NSW.
Residents can also register online at relayforlife.org.au/leeton or contact the Wagga office on 6937 2600. An information night for teams will be held on September 10.
