Player profiles
Loose Head Prop: Jack Clark. Power in the break down, always over the top cleaning out and holding strong against any counter rucking. Fends off tacklers.
Hooker: Vula Wate: Co-captain. Powerhouse in the forwards and try scoring machine. His dynamic running is equally devastating.
Tight Head Prop: Patrick Smith. Powerful runner of the ball, who often leads the way from tap restarts and once rolling, can’t be stopped.
Lock: Eddie Morschel. Versatile player across the paddock who’s never afraid to get into the ruck or take the ball up to the defence.
Lock: Jye Teerman. The surprise package of the year. A powerful runner of the ball in the tight stuff.
Flanker: Rusty Skewes. A reliable defender who pulls off great tackles and follows them up with opportunities to counter attack.
Number Eight: Thomas Johnson. Strong runner of the ball in loose play. Loves to hit the line hard with the ball in hand.
Scrum Half: Ethan McDonald. Co-captain. Powerful in defence and devastating in attack. Consistently pulls off bone crunching tackles.
Fly Half: George McCrohon. Plays with aggression and heart. A dynamic runner of the ball. Reliable in defence.
Winger: Luke Bechaz. Another surprise package this year. First year in rugby but playing like a seasoned pro.
Inside Centre: Tennyson Sales. Moved to an unfamiliar position in the backs half way through the season but the move has proven to be gold.
Outside Centre: Arlo Ciavarella. Never afraid to stick his head into a ruck and has proven to be a great defender out wide.
Winger: Jy Mawer. Has become a reliable defender out wide, forcing the opposition in field.
Full Back: Jez Lashbrook. An ever-reliable defender who sweeps across the paddock from fullback. He moves into the line to make important tackles.
Reserve: Tristan Capstick. Has been reliable all year to be able to be placed into any position and do the job asked of him.
