The side won’t be playing finals this year, but were able to get another victory over Coolamon at Leeton Showground on Saturday, following on from their win against GGGM the previous week.
The Crows defeated the Hoppers 44-40 and co-coach Libby Gillespie was pleased the side was able to put another win to their name before season’s end.
“It’s definitely good for the girls and their confidence in their game, skills and, more importantly, each other,” she said.

“We’re still a young side, so all signs are pointing towards a positive future.”
A grade will play their final match of the season on Saturday against fourth-placed Turvey Park.
“We’re definitely expecting a tough match from Turvey … they are always hard,” Gillespie said.
“As long as all of our players give their best and play well in their position, that’s all we can ask.
“I’m confident in their abilities and if they play will, I know they can challenge Turvey. Hopefully we can finish on a good note.”
While the season may be over for A grade, Leeton-Whitton will have A reserve, B grade, C grade and under 17s all contesting the finals over the coming weeks.
