Yanco-Wamoon and the Leeton Greens will meet for the third time this season, but this time even more than bragging rights will be on the line.
The two sides finished fourth and fifth and only one can stay in the mix with a win in the elimination final.
The Hawks go into the match on the back of a 52-0 victory over Darlington Point-Coleambally, while the Greens lost a close contest with minor premiers Yenda, 22-18.
In their two previous meetings this year, the teams both have one win apiece.
Yanco-Wamoon coach Craig Higgins said his team would be out for victory, but he wouldn’t be changing a thing in terms of their routine.
“The last couple of weeks I’ve taken more of a relaxed approach with the girls to just let them do what they do,” he said.
“It’s been working for us. They know what to do because they have put in the hard yards all season.”
However, the team the Hawks put on the paddock will be dependant on the availability of Yanco Agricultural High School’s students who play for the side.
Higgins was confident Yanco-Wamoon would give the Greens a good shake.
“It’s taken a long time to get the girls where they are now … they know this is their year to make an impact,” he said.
“Basically if they keep doing what they have been doing all season, they are in with a real chance.”
For the Greens, they have hit their stride at the right time of the season, gelling well as a unit and really challenging the top sides.

Coach Katie McGregor wants to see a full team performance from her side on Saturday in Griffith.
“We played really well last weekend, so I want us to continue that,” she said.
“Everyone has been playing so well, so it’s just a matter of keeping that up now.
“Yanco have a few key players we want to shut down and we want our defence to be good as well.
“Defence wins games.” McGregor said the Greens would be keeping it “business as usual” at training this week ahead of the game.
“Everyone is really keen for the game … we just need a good performance from everyone,” she said.
