The MIA Cruisers organisation has got in early when it comes to the festive season, launching a Christmas Can Assist appeal.
Member John Napier said the club was passionate about its corner of the work and the group felt it was time to give something back to the community and fellow residents.
“One hundred per cent of the funds (we raise will) stay right here in Leeton,” he said.
“You may see us about in Leeton selling tickets in our raffle or promoting local events, so please come up and say G'day.

“If you would like to help us achieve our fundraising goals please contact us on our Facebook page.”
The launch of the Christmas appeal was held during a shed tour of a member’s collection of vehicles.
That event alone raised more than $430 with more fundraising events and raffles planned throughout the remainder of the year.
MIA Cruisers decided to choose Can Assist as the beneficiary of their fundraising as they wanted to be sure the money would be used to help Leeton shire residents.
The Leeton branch of Can Assist provides financial assistance to residents affected by cancer.
Money can be put towards towards things such as medical expenses, accommodation and fuel.
The group also offers emotional support and undertakes plenty of its own fundraising.
