POLICE believe a women was lucky to escape serious injury following an accident near Yanco on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 8.15am, with a 48-year-old woman taken to Leeton District Hospital with minor injuries as a result.
Police said a prime mover carrying cattle was travelling north when a 1996 white Holden Commodore allegedly failed to give way with the two vehicles colliding as a result.
The accident took place at the intersection of Regulator Road and Mckellar Road, near the JBS Riverina feedlot.
The commodore received damage to its front and rear, with two of the prime mover’s fuel tanks also damaged.
