However, one Leeton aged care organisation has decided to throw open its doors to show off its facility and services.
On October 17, the Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution (RFBI) will encourage all community members to head to the Alf Herrmann Lodge for its annual open day.
Starting from 10.30am, the day will include a morning tea and guided village tours.

There will also be an information session to discover what aged care is really like in today’s day and age.
Those attending will also be able to get a simple run down and explanation of the facility’s fees and charges.
For more information about the day or Alf Herrmann Lodge visit www.rfbi.com.au or call the RFBI Leeton Masonic Village on 6953 9300.
